There are a number of shops and restaurants in some quaint old buildings.

The drive to Willcox was pretty well a drive in the desert on a dead straight and flat road.

The only distraction was having to produce our Passports for the Border Patrol. We did manage to find a winery at Deming NM and stopped to have a sample. New Mexico does have a fairly productive vineyard region which is powered by a drip irrigation system.

We arrived in Arizona at around 4:00 pm which we found out was really 3:00 pm as Arizona does not adopt daylight savings time. We had time to unwind before supper.

Tomorrow we are off to Chiricahua National Monument for some hiking and photography.
